Lois is currently working with the Georgia team where she is analyzing the state’s role in improving student outcomes for the Georgia Department of Education. In addition, Lois is a part of the DC compensation modeling team that is creating a quantitative framework for analyzing teacher compensation at the district level.
Prior to ERS, Lois worked as a Research Practice Manager for an economic development research and strategy organization, where she focused on the availability of capital resources to businesses located in distressed urban communities. Lois has also worked in the private sector as an equity research analyst before attending Yale School of Management, where she obtained her MBA.
Lois is an avid basketball fan and enjoys watching (and sometimes playing) all types of sports. Lois volunteers as a middle school math tutor at a local charter school and serves as a scholarship committee director for the Boston chapter of National Association of Asian American Professionals. Lois and her husband live in Arlington, MA.
